EP.10 | 9 April 2021
"I would say it's a very important part of our future and the Earth's future."
Shane Finnegan is a Product Innovator for Thrive Market based in Los Angeles. Shane has always had a passion for food, but when he moved into product creation and learned more regenerative farming, he realised just how important these practices are to our future.
In our conversation, we dig into regenerative farming - from what it is and how it works, to economic considerations and environmental benefits. Shane shares his insight from working directly with regenerative farmers - we talk about soil health, food choices, organic vs regenerative, climate impact and more.
Big thanks to Shane for taking the time to speak with me and spread awareness about this important movement. Balance is a key aspect to this conversation as it relates to the balance of nature and our role in it. This topic has really sparked a curiosity in me to go deeper and understand what we can do as consumers. If you want to learn more about regenerative farming, check out resources on Thrive Market's website as well as from Kiss the Ground (see links below).
