"We create our reality with our thoughts and beliefs."
Erin Dusek (@erindusek) is a professional commercial dancer and yoga teacher based in London. With a successful career, Erin turned to yoga 8 years ago to help her cope with the anxiety and stress that come with being a dancer. Now as a teacher, Erin is on a mission to share what she has learned to help others on their journey.
In our conversation, we dig into the impact of practices including gratitude, yoga and meditation. Erin discusses the power of gratitude in becoming a more positive person and shaping the lens through which we view our circumstances, opportunities, and challenges. We talk about cultivating self-love, positive mindsets, the law of attraction, finding acceptance and the importance of rest, collective consciousness and community.
It was such a lovely conversation with Erin, taking the time to talk about the power of these practices and finding fulfilment during the pandemic. Born out of lockdown, Erin talks about creating 'The Gratitude Retreat', a 28-day programme bringing together spiritual practices that have helped her over the years with a focus on gratitude and meditation - having just completed it, I highly recommend it and it starts on the 1st of every month if you are interested!

Erin Dusek has been a professional commercial dancer for 15 years and turned to yoga in 2013 to help her find a little calm amongst an exciting but chaotic lifestyle as a dancer. The benefits of the practice were so great that she decided to take her passion for yoga one step further and embarked on her journey as a yoga teacher in 2018.
With trainings in Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin, and Mandala Vinyasa, Erin brings a dynamic and fiery element to her classes, both in studios across London as well as online, which in turn brings clarity and peace of mind through a moving meditation. Her passion for helping others led her to creating a 28-day programme called 'The Gratitude Retreat' to help people improve their mindsets during lockdown.
